Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Link Agents ("Link Agents," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website and application at linkagents.io and app.linkagents.io (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on that organization's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

1. The Service

Link Agents is a software platform that helps agencies and marketing teams find, qualify, and contact prospects for backlink outreach, using AI-assisted tools for prospecting, qualification, contact discovery, and email drafting, plus optional integrations that send outreach from and detect replies in your own connected email accounts.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
• One account may belong to one organization with multiple team members, each with a role (Owner/Admin, Campaign Manager, or Outreach Specialist) that determines what they can see and do.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed on the cycle and at the price shown at signup or on our pricing page.
• Each plan includes usage caps (for example, prospects qualified, contacts found, and outreach actions per period); exceeding a cap may pause the relevant feature until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
• We may change our pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.

3.1 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us at admin@linkagents.io.
• Cancellation stops future billing but does not end your current paid period early — you keep full access to the Service through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and your plan will not renew after that.
• If you cancel and later want to come back, you can resubscribe at any time; your account and its data are not deleted just because a subscription lapses (see Section 11 on suspension/termination for when data may eventually be removed).

3.2 Refunds

• Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time after cancellation, downgrades, or unused plan capacity — except where required by applicable law.
• We do not offer partial credit or proration for canceling mid-cycle; because our plans are a flat monthly fee rather than metered by exact usage, ending a subscription early doesn't create a partial-usage credit to calculate.
• If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a billing system malfunction), contact admin@linkagents.io and we'll look into it — corrections for our own billing errors are handled outside this no-refund policy.

4. Acceptable use — outreach and email

Link Agents sends outreach email through your own connected email account or sending configuration — not a shared bulk-mail service — and you are responsible for how you use it. By using the outreach features, you agree that you will:

• Only contact recipients for legitimate business purposes related to link building and outreach, and comply with applicable anti-spam laws (including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and, where applicable, laws like the EU's ePrivacy Directive/GDPR and Canada's CASL).
• Honor every unsubscribe, opt-out, or "do not contact" request — including those the Service detects and flags automatically — and never knowingly re-contact someone marked do-not-contact.
• Not use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent content, or to impersonate any person or business.
• Not use the Service to send content that infringes anyone's intellectual property or violates their privacy.
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Not use the Service to harvest, buy, or sell contact lists in violation of applicable law or the terms of the sources you obtained them from.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used for spam, abuse, or unlawful outreach, including where that use puts other customers' email deliverability or our provider relationships at risk.

5. Connected email and third-party accounts

Some features require you to connect a Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP account. By connecting an account, you represent that you're authorized to do so (for example, it's your own mailbox, or a business mailbox you or your organization control), and you can disconnect it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we access and how it's used. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or terms of third-party services like Google, Microsoft, or your email/SMTP provider.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to help qualify prospects, find contacts, and draft outreach content. AI-generated output can be inaccurate or unsuitable for a given situation. You're responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-drafted content, prospect qualification, or contact information before you rely on it or send it to a third party — the Service is a drafting and research aid, not a substitute for your own judgment.

7. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the campaign data, prospect lists, and content you upload or create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You're responsible for having the rights needed to upload and use Your Content, including any client or prospect data.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Link Agents and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service reliably available but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED QUALIFICATION SCORES, CONTACT INFORMATION, OR DRAFTED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINK AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Link Agents harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including claims arising from outreach content you sent or approved.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, including the acceptable-use provisions in Section 4. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions of these Terms (including Sections 10–12) survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
